The Zamfara State First Lady Academic Tournament is a flagship state initiative under the direct patronage of the Office of the First Lady of Zamfara State. In partnership with the Zamfara State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and under the executive sponsorship of the Huriyya Dauda Lawal Initiative (HDLI), it is the most prestigious academic competition in Zamfara State.

School Instructors
Each participating school is assigned exactly two accredited instructors to guide and mentor the scholars. Registered instructors are authorized to enroll up to five scholars for their institution.

Huriyya Dauda Lawal Initiative
Founded by Her Excellency Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, First Lady of Zamfara State, HDLI is a women and youth empowerment foundation dedicated to education, healthcare, and economic inclusion across Zamfara State.
HDLI supports and sponsors major educational programs for tournament champions, ensuring that academic excellence in Zamfara State is always met with a transformative opportunity.
